Well, alright, the pictures of Baby Jack with a paint brush are a bit of a joke, but once kids are 3 or 4, they really can help you get more work done!.
.. Baskets and plates on a wall at.Three Pixie Lane..
Basket on the wall with flowers from.Evi’s Country Snippets.. Metal basket wall from.Design, Dining, and Diapers..
Giant tabacco basket from Shopping Candy.. Another giant tobacco basket at A Soft Place to Land.. You totally get it now, right?I’m betting I could find one of those big tobacco baskets around here pretty easily since that used to be one of the biggest crops grown in this area.
It still is quite a bit, although much less for obvious reasons.. I’m working on my own DIY, almost-free version of the basket wall to show you today.
I should have it ready for a close-up real soon! This has got to be my favorite pallet project ever.I started thinking about other natural materials that I could use to get a similar look.
And guess what I came up with.Twine of course!.
Well, I started by braiding some long pieces and then twisting, hot glueing, and of course burning my fingers repeatedly. So while it looks like it’s mostly twine, it’s actually about half and half twine and glue.. Well, it seemed simple enough.
