Unplug the vacuum cleaner and make sure it’s switched off..Lift out the pre-motor filter from the top of the main body.Then remove the post-motor filter by rotating it anti-clockwise until it can be pulled off the back of the vacuum..

Rinse the pre filter with cold water until the water isn’t murky.Tap out loose debris, then rotate and squeeze out the excess water..

Place the open side of the post filter under cold running water, then tap off water and loose dirt.

Repeat this process until the water runs clear..This can happen if the machine isn’t powerful enough or the cleaner is inexperienced..
